STEP 2: mood board

After I finalized my concept, I created my final mood board and made studies of the paintings.

The collection will exist out of 14 paintings, all very different but matching together for my solo exhibition.

My mood board consists out of women in different settings at their homes. I found images on the internet and in magazines. Every woman is accompanied by matching blossoming flowers. The look and feel and color pallet are most important to create the right vibe.

I sketched out a composition with their primary colors and captured the format.

The next step is to paint 14 blank canvases.
