5 art studio storage ideas

my art studio - drawing table, easel, trolley and drawing files

At the moment, my art studio exists out of a drawing table, an easel and a trolley from Ikea. But with years of painting and drawing, my storage became a bit of a problem. My drawings are stocked in different files or on the ground and my paintings are scattered all over our house, at the attic, in our basement, our living room, bedrooms,... So, here are some storage ideas for my future bigger art studio. I believe it gives more peace when everything would be better organized.

  1. A working table with lots of storage space below

  2. A cabinet with long narrow drawers for drawings and drawing paper storage

  3. A flexible wall to place your studies or mood boards - this way you have a double wall for hanging your work

  4. Baskets for drawings and drawing paper

  5. A flexible shelving system for the storage of paintings in all different sizes.
